Job Openings

Cardinal is seeking an intern to work 30-40 hours per week at $20/hour. This intern is expected to work in the office (conveniently located near Gallery Place metro) at least 2 days per week. The intern will be responsible for many office functions such as keeping the website updated, managing client fly-in logistics, and assembling briefing materials for meetings. In addition, the intern will work on projects such as policy research, drafting memos, and developing public-facing content for certain clients. We are looking for someone that is attentive, proactive, considerate, easy to work with, a team player, and able to work through issues independently. As a small firm, you will have to manage some administrative tasks, but you will also have the opportunity to be much closer to policy work than you would be at a larger company. As a transit-focused firm, we are hoping to find someone with a genuine interest in urban sustainability, transportation, and city-building.

We are hoping for a April/May start date and the internship would expire in December 2024. We are also hoping to hire this intern on full-time upon conclusion of the internship so there will be a performance review in November to that effect. Please send your resume, a 4-paragraph cover letter, and 2 references to carter@cardinalinfrastructure.com. Selected applicants will be contacted via email about scheduling an interview. Applications will close on March 20th, 2024.
